COPPER CUP: A Cozy Coffee Shop Experience in Lancaster, PA

Fabulous coffee shop that’s worth a stop for sure! They have an extensive, easy to understand menu with options for everyone. They had all sorts of lattes, coffees, steamers, refreshers, teas, etc. I sampled a pumpkin spice macchiato which was AMAZING. Aside from drinks, they had a great selection of baked goods, from cake pops to cookies to baked oatmeal. The baristas were friendly and made my drink quite quickly! While there was a fabulous relaxing atmosphere inside, the Copper Cup also has a great drive thru option for busy mornings! I would definitely recommend stopping next time you’re in the area!

When Copper Cup opened, I feared it would become an upper-middle-class Third Space. Located comfortably across the street from a slightly swanky Montessori School & the apartment homes constructed in the historic Hamilton Watch Factory. The neighborhood on the other side of Copper Cup is considerably more variable & not at all swank. But it is interesting & a pretty fun place to take a walk, especially once you get on side streets. It's old & crunchy & >how do we say<...Authentic. So landing on a very suburban, white-kids-study-here, contemporary Christian music-playing spot like Copper Cup when you need caffeine? Maybe a tiny bit weird. But not unpleasant. They brew Passenger's Necessary Coffee, which is good. They make flavored coffees without embarrassment, whipped cream towering... They make flavored drinks of all sorts. And cookies, yogurts, all manner of gourmet sandwiches, tomato pie, etc. You can eat well if not healthily. Coffee is well-balanced & tasty, nicely caffeinated, & perfectly hot. Service is for the most part excellent. The cafe had run out of the food item I wanted to order--always disappointing & this happens more often at Copper Cup than anywhere else I go--but y'know. That's gonna happen. The server told me this often occurs when they bring out new seasonal menus. So at least that means there are new menus? They also carry an odd assortment of Copper Cup Wear with logos that alternatively

I like the atmosphere here and the seating. Lots of coffee shops have seats without cushion, which cycles through customers quicker because they don’t linger in the seats as long, but here the seats are very comfortable. Great for getting work done and setting up for a couple hours. I enjoyed a little chat with the barista and got some info on the coffee. Overall, a good shop.

Tried this place out for the first the other day and fell in love! Great coffee, atmosphere, and staff. This time I brought a book and headphones and had some peace and reading! Haven't tried the food yet but that's next on my list! Highly recommend!

Great place to relax and enjoy a snack and a drink. It's a space clearly setup to encourage people to stay a while if they want, but without clutter. I love the open layout

This place is wonderful! Walking in, I felt at peace. The layout is quite nice and the environment is tranquil. As for the food, I had a peppermint mocha and coffee muffin. They were both delicious! The cinnamon crumble of the muffin was perfect, and the hint of peppermint with chocolate combined in the complex taste of the coffee was incredibly delightful. I would highly advise both. As for the service, they were wonderfully helpful. At one point, my grandmother felt her coffee was too dark, and they very kindly readjusted the flavor with the bonus of a cream topping. I was extremely grateful and I thank them again, specifically the lady who helped me. Try this place out, and enjoy the calm within while the world moves quickly without.

I appreciate much about Copper Cup! The coffee is top notch, service is typically great, and the atmosphere lovely. The biggest issue I have, that I wish would change, is that they don't offer in-house mugs and they have only single-use plastics (of course you can bring your own mug, which I often do & enjoy the discount). Even if they don't start offering mugs, I wish they'd choose a more earth-friendly compostable cup option. I would support them more as a business if I saw them make changes in this direction.

So happy we found this breakfast place! Tons of gluten free options for breakfast. Beautiful atmosphere. Wooden elements and tables nicely contrast with the concrete floor. Very clean. Great drive through pick-up. 3 young employees keep the place and orders running smoothly.
